Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use PolyShorts. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done with your account.

Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. One person or organisation per account.

2. Your content and your rights

You may only upload, link or process videos that you own, or for which you hold every right, licence and permission needed — including the right to make edited and derivative clips, and the consent of identifiable people where the law requires it. You confirm this each time you add a video.

Uploading or importing content you do not have the rights to is prohibited. We may remove such content and suspend or close accounts when we receive a valid notice or otherwise become aware of it.

You keep ownership of your videos and the clips made from them. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display them only as needed to provide the service to you.

Importing from YouTube or other sites is offered for content you own or are licensed to use; you are responsible for complying with those sites' terms.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use PolyShorts for content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, sexualises minors, harasses or threatens people, promotes violence, or is intended to deceive (for example, misleading edits of real people).

Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service, or access other users' data.

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

The Free plan lets you create up to 2 Shorts from one video, with a watermark. Paid plans (Creator, Artist and Pro) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance and include a set number of videos per billing period, as shown on our pricing section.

Unused videos do not roll over to the next period. Plan limits (video length, file size, features) are described on the pricing section and may change with notice.

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, who may also handle taxes and invoices. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. AI-generated output

Transcripts, captions, translations, highlight choices and scores are produced automatically and can contain mistakes. Review clips before publishing them; you are responsible for what you publish.

6. Storage and deletion

We delete the full original video 7 days after processing, keeping only short segments around each clip so you can still edit it. Clips and transcripts stay until you delete the project or your account. Deleting a project removes its files; the video credit it used is not returned.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep PolyShorts available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a change that materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.

We may update these terms. If the change is significant we will notify you by email or in the app; continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it arose.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be excluded.

9. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country.
